By now every one knows about the HORRIFIC FLOODS OF ATLANTA GEORGIA . I RECENTLY SAW JERMAIN DUPRI ON TWITTER saying “I’MMA DONATE 10,000 TO GET YALL TO 75,000″… IS IT ME OR CAN JERMAIN DUPRI DONATE 75,000 BY HIS DAMN SELF ?

Next I read on TMZ that T.I. & Ludacris are donating $10,000.00 each as well as organizing a food drive. I looked under neath the post to see some of the comments left.. like : “Ten Thousand wtf… that is weak”…(scroll down to see the comments).

These comments open up a bigger issue at hand. That issue being that Celebrities all over (Jay-Z, Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Will Smith,  Bill Gates, Jay Leno, Oprah, Diddy, Britney Spears etc. etc.) All of them make donations like this mainly for tax write off and that’s all it’s about is a f-ckin tax write off or publicity. Yeah we should be thankful that they are doing something at all… but when you see these same ma fuggas on twitter braggin about the tab they ran up at the bar… or “Throw it in the Bag”  (Fabolous)  cause they don’t have to look at the price on the tag.. they are So Paid…yeah it sounds like bull sh-t to me too. Then you have Nas writing this “Open Letter” to the Young Males in Chicago ? writing ? …. Writing ? are you serious… you fly G4 Planes and you’re writing.. ALL OF YALL.. from JAY-Z, to WILL SMITH, to DENZEL, to NBA PLAYER DWAYNE WADE need to go out to the streets of Chicago, the streets of Philly and tell them to stop KILLING EACH OTHER. I always hear “why are people so hard on rappers” because they are in the videos bragging about “bling, bling” …”Money To Blow” <– Birdman’s most recent single. How many times have we heard rappers say “100 around my neck, 80 on my wrist”. It’s comments like these that bring about the backlash of the public demanding they give more. I might never get invited to any events after I say this but ya know what people … when they say “go out buy my album support my album”… DON’T .. when they say “Imma perform in Houston tonight or Baltimore tomorrow” don’t go.. look at it like this. Ladies if your man hits or cheats on you… you will immediately drop him. Fellas if ya girl is out cheatin on you.. you wanna beat her a$$” so why do we let entertainers off the hook. F-ck goin to the movies wait till it comes on cable. F-ck seeing them inconcert just watch whatever videos end up on youtube… and continue this until they SHOW YOU they give a fk about you as much as you give a fk about them. With all the Money JAY-Z has why are people in MARCY PROJECTS paying rent ? MARCY PROJECTS should be free… and if it doesn’t already .. it should have up to date FAUCETS, top of the line cabinetry, tubs, and tiles.

I know a girl on twitter who said she bought two copies of Trey Songz album and she has no job. yes I’m SHAKING MY F-CKIN HEAD right now jus thinking about it.. come the f-ck on… you buying trey’s album and you got no job no disrespect to trey but he ain gonna give you that 40.00 to get your oil changed or 135.00 if your glasses break. People we have to think about the people around us more and ourselves. We so caught up in this hollywood bull sh*t.

T.I. & Ludacris probably get around 100k or more a show… so how about When T.I. gets out .. T.I. & Ludacris get together do a show… take all 200,000.00 & pick 4 families and build houses for them.

Some people are going to say Ludacris just gave away 20 used cars to families in need…I’m sure those used cars are gonna help those families out but at the same token. I find it hard to believe he paid full value for those cars. I bet he got a nice discount due to the fact this event would bring major publicity for that dealership. Not to mention TARGET and other companies sponsored the event. Great gesture but once again its a tax write off .. so how much of that was pure sacrifice as oppose to just making sure they meet their annual tax write off quota.

I think Actors, Rappers, Models, Singers need to do this for now on…. take your 10, 20, 30 thousand dollar donation go out and BUY the actual FOOD, buy the actual supplies to build the homes, buy the actual pants and shirts and give them directly to those in need.. at least then you know the goods have reached the people directly. As oppose to these “donations” and 1/2 the time who knows if that money even makes it there.

BIRDMAN just gave LIL WAYNE a 1 Million Dollar Chopard Watch for his birthday… what that means is … LIL WAYNE is walking around with about 20 homes on his wrist, or 800,000 meals on his wrist.

Lamar and Khloe tied the knot yesterday (Sunday) and it resembled something of a hollywood movie set. According to X17online (who has more pics from the wedding) the two seemed to really love each other, despite the quick marriage. One guest even said:

Being deemed the hardest working rapper out right now, Lil Wayne was able to take some time out to relax as he celebrated his 27th birthday this weekend.

Somewhat following in the footsteps of Jay, his age has shown Wayne taking more chances and stepping outside the box. If Rebirth isn’t an indication, his recent work with Madonna shows his passion for music and not just Hip-Hop.

The rapper-eater has already worked with his mentor in rap, Jay-Z, on many occasions, but he has also always spoken on wanting to work with Eminem. He even went as far as to challenge the Detroit MC to get on a track with him as if he was afraid to see what would happen.

That day finally came, somewhat, when the two jumped on Drake’s “Forever” track with Kanye West. This isn’t enough for Weezy though as he stated that the cut doesn’t really count as the collaboration he has been looking for.

Speaking with DJ Drama on Hot 107.9 in Atlanta, the mixtape monster opened up on his dream collab potentially coming true.

“That don’t officially count because I wanted a record with just me and Em. He got on the record for Lebron, not Lil Wayne. We still looking for that one right there.”

He also took time out to speak on the big homie, Jay, as he gave his reaction to the Brooklyn rapper’s latest project The Blueprint III.

“I love Hov for that and I love everything that Hov do, as I always have. He’s still my role model, my idol. Rappers need to understand that Hov is certifying for us to do it for a long time. With legal issues finally behind them, Drama and Wayne even spoke on continuing The Dedication series where Weezy simply stated he was waiting on the green light.

Legally Moses Michael Leviy, but known to the rap world as Shyne is coming closer and closer to being among the free world as his sentence is almost up and he will be able to walk again as a free man.

On December 27, 1999, a shooting at a Manhattan Club left the then 21-year-old rapper in quite a bind as he was forced to do the time and landed himself behind bars facing charges of attempted murder, assault and reckless endangerment.

As Diddy, then Daddy, was present some felt as though he left Shyne out on his ass when everything went down. There has been word reported that even the rapper feels that Puffy had some sort of responsibility to what had happened and seemed to harbor a grudge.

Calling into Hot 97, Sean “Diddy” Combs spoke on the rapper as he awaits the day that he will no longer be behind that 8X11 cell.

“It’s a blessing that he’s coming home. I spoke to him like a couple of weeks ago and he sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can’t wait to get home. I know he is definitely going to heat the whole scene up. He was definitely one of talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with. I’m quite sure he’s been using his time wisely and has some heat.”

Shyne found his initial success along the ranks of the Bad Boy regime back in 1998 as his voice brought attention to the likes of producer Clark Kent. With a voice that resembled the late Notorious B.I.G., the rapper was brought to the house of Diddy and the magic after that is already known.

On August 4, 2009, an order was signed by a Manhattan judge that would schedule Shyne for release on October 6, 2009. The rapper has served over eight years of a ten year sentence on which no terms for post-release supervision, a.k.a. parole, had originally been established. As a result and at the request of the Correction Department, the recent re-sentencing will call for a mandatory probation period of at least two and half years. Shyne and his attorney, Oscar Michelin had initially hoped to avoid this, with Shyne labeling it as being akin to “extra jail time”. However Michelin did allow that the state was well within its rights.

As he waits for his release, Shyne has been transferred back to the Woodbourne Correctional Facility, where he has spent the latter part of his incarceration, from Rikers Island where he was awaiting his parole hearing.

In regards to his future in rap, it was already starting to be rumored in some publications that Shyne has committed to signing with rapper/producer Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label upon his release. Forming from an alleged discussion the two had while Shyne was in prison, Jay shut down all possibilities saying that the meeting of the two never happened.

While Shyne is plotting his post-prison career move, Diddy is making moves of his own as he announced that he is no longer signed to Warner Music Group/ Atlantic Records.

Before his interview with Hot 97 about the status of his old pal, Diddy was in the headlines for confirming his official departure from the label. He confirmed to Billboard his move in a statement saying:

“Now that the term of the Warner deal has ended, I have elected to accept an opportunity to move my recording career and future label venture to another company.”

He also added that Bad Boy and all it’s subsidies would still be under the Warner/ Atlantic Record umbrella. Although he did not confirm where his new label home would be, there has been speculation that he’d join the ranks of Mr. Jimmy Iovine and sign with Interscope Records.

DJ Nabs, legendary DJ and prolific businessman, is still rocking the crowds and doing things the A-Town way in the name of good music and good times. Not everything has been rosy for the southern turntableist though. In 2007, Shawntae “Da Brat” Harris was arrested for assaulting a worker at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 night club, a crime for which she received three years behind bars for committing.

The first female emcee to garner a platinum plaque for an album, fans and friends alike were shocked at the harshness of the sentencing, with no group being proverbially hit harder than Brat’s So So Def family. Over two years have passed since the incident and people remained steadfast in supporting the incarcerated superstar, especially Nabs, whom has decided to give Brat more than moral support in a way that only he can.

Speaking exclusively with Hip-Hop Wired, Nabs touched a little on his relationship with the “Funkdafied” lyricist, speaking of his support and their brother/sister-esque relationship.

“Brat and I are like brother and sister to a degree,” said the Atlanta legend. “I’ve been to see her and we talk on the phone when she calls. She’s doing well. It gets to a point in the music business that you actually develop real relationships outside of just doing work in the studio or just touring with people. So Brat and I have that sort of relationship.”

Currently serving time at Lee Arrendale State Prison in the sleepy town of Alto, Georgia, Da Brat is close to completing her three year isolation. Perhaps displaying her willingness to return to the business that she pioneered, Brat has been organizing a talent show, sharing her classic flow and commanding showmanship with fellow inmates. The move has precedence but never has a prison talent show been so publicized. Adding to the excitement of the affair will be the music itself, as DJ Nabs has been tapped to deliver custom mixes for the participants to use during the show. The Chicago rapper is hoping prison officials will allow her event to become an annual affair.

The consummate hustler, Nabs is also taking steps to bring people into his world, going to a place that most in the music realm have not accomplished enough to venture into.

“It‘s called In the Lab With Nabs: An American DJ Story and I‘ve been working on it for years,” exclaimed the innovator.

The documentary will be a documentary of the professional and personal trials and triumphs of the man that epitomizes what it means to be a musical maven.

There were some accusations that Keyshia Cole was knocked up by her boyfriend Boobie.  Finally someone has set the record straight.

Despite being hit with baby momma payments, legal fees and a battered ego, Ross can still look forward to an upcoming album with his Dade County super-group, Triple C’s. Triple C’s, comprised of Gunplay, Torch, Young Breed and the Bawse himself is set to release their debut album, Custom & Cars & Cycles. The album is spearheaded by their first single “Go” featuring Birdman and promises to be filled with hood records and ladies’ anthems. Lamar had this to say about his bachelor party:
